　　Neo： Woah.
　　尼奥： 哇。
　　
　　Neo looks down at the street twenty floors below， then at Morpheus an impossible fifty feet away.
　　尼奥向下看了看二十层楼下的街道，然后又看了看五十英尺外（几乎不可能跳到）的墨菲斯。
　　
　　Neo： Okies dokie.
　　尼奥： 好吧。（Okie dokie 口语，表示同意或接受）
　　
　　Neo takes a deep breath.
　　尼奥深吸一口气。
　　
　　Neo： Free my mind……no problem.
　　尼奥： 解放我的思想……没问题。
　　
　　On the main deck， the crew are transfixed.
　　在主甲板上，船员们都看呆了。
　　
　　Mouse： So what if he makes it？
　　鼠标： 那么如果他成功了呢？
　　
　　Tank： No one’s ever made the first jump……
　　坦克： 从没有人第一次跳跃就成功……
　　
　　Mouse： I know， I know……but what if he does？
　　鼠标： 我知道，我知道……但如果他做到了呢？
　　
　　Apoc： He won’t.
　　埃帕克： 他不会的。
　　
　　Mouse： Come on……
　　鼠标： 得了吧……
　　
　　Trinity： Come on…….
　　崔妮蒂： 加油…….
　　
　　Neo takes another deep breath
　　尼奥又深吸一口气。
　　
　　Neo： All right， no problem……free my mind. Free my mind……All right.
　　尼奥： 好吧，没问题……解放我的思想。解放我的思想……好了。
　　
　　Neo concentrates and runs.
　　尼奥集中精神，开始奔跑。
　　
　　Summoning every ounce of strength in his legs， Neo launches himself into the air in a single maniacal shriek - But comes up drastically short.
　　尼奥调动腿上每一分力量，发出一声狂叫跃入空中——但距离差得太远。
　　
　　His eyes widen as he plummets. Stories fly by， the ground rushing up at him， but as he hits - The ground gives way， stretching like a trapeze net.
　　他坠落时眼睛睁得大大的。楼层飞速掠过，地面向他冲来，但当他撞上时——地面塌陷了，像一张高空秋千网一样伸展。
　　
　　He bounces and flips， slowly coming to a rest， flat on his back.

　　He laughs， a bit unsure， wiping the wind-blown tears from his face.

　　Morpheus exits the building and helps him to his feet.

　　Inside the Nebuchadnezzar， the crew are feeling kind of let down by Neo.

　　Mouse： Wha……what does this mean？
　　鼠标： 什……这是什么意思？
　　
　　Switch： It doesn’t mean anything……
　　开关： 这没有任何意思……
　　
　　Cypher： Everybody falls the first time. Right， Trin？
　　塞弗： 每个人第一次都会失败。对吧，崔妮蒂？
　　
　　But Trinity has left. Neo’s eyes open as Tank eases the plug out. He tries to move and groans， cradling his ribs. While Tank helps Morpheus， Neo spits blood into his hand.
　　但崔妮蒂已经离开了。坦克轻轻拔出插头，尼奥睁开眼睛。他试图移动，呻吟着，捂住肋骨。坦克帮助墨菲斯时，尼奥往手里吐了口血。
　　
　　Neo： I thought it wasn’t real.
　　尼奥： 我以为那不是真的。
　　
　　Morpheus： Your mind makes it real……
　　墨菲斯： 你的思想让它成真……
　　
　　Neo： If you’re killed in the Matrix……you die here？
　　尼奥： 如果你在矩阵中被杀……在这里也会死？
　　
　　Morpheus： The body cannot live without the mind.
　　墨菲斯： 身体没有意识就无法存活。
　　
　　Neo goes to his room and goes to sleep.
　　尼奥回到自己的房间睡觉。
　　
　　In the morning， Trinity goes to his room to give him food. She sees him passed out on the bed. She sets the tray down and pulls the blanket over him. She pauses， her face close to his， then inhales lightly， breathing in the scent of him， before slowly pulling away. She gets up and walks out the door， closing it quietly.
　　早上，崔妮蒂去尼奥的房间给他送食物。她看到他昏倒在床上。她放下托盘，把毯子拉过来盖在他身上。她停顿了一下，脸靠近他的脸，然后轻轻吸气，闻着他的气息，才慢慢抽身离开。她站起来，走出门，轻轻关上。
　　
　　Outside his door， Cypher is standing with his arms folded.
　　在他门外，塞弗抱着胳膊站着。
　　
　　Cypher： I don’t remember you ever bringing me dinner……
　　塞弗： 我不记得你曾给我送过晚餐……
　　
　　Trinity looks away
　　崔妮蒂看向别处。
　　
　　Cypher： There is something about him， isn’t there？
　　塞弗： 他确实有些特别，不是吗？
　　
　　Trinity： Don’t tell me you’re a believer now……
　　崔妮蒂： 别告诉我你现在成了信徒……
　　
　　Cypher： I just keep wondering……if Morpheus is so sure， why doesn’t he take him to see the Oracle？
　　塞弗： 我只是一直在想……如果墨菲斯那么确定，为什么不带他去见先知？
　　
　　Trinity： Morpheus will take him……when he’s ready.
　　崔妮蒂： 墨菲斯会带他去的……等他准备好了。
　　
　　She walks away from him， and Cypher smiles to himself.
　　她从他身边走开，塞弗对自己笑了笑。
　　
　　When Neo wakes up， Morpheus takes him into another program.
　　当尼奥醒来时，墨菲斯带他进入另一个程序。
